PROPLASTICS HIGH IMPACT u-PVC PIPE
Proplastics mine piping is produced from
high impact (impact modified) u-PVC and incorporates "Vitaulic"
jointing method, better known as the knock on shoulder coupling.
The mine pipes are designed to a tough lightweight non-corrodible
system to the Mining and Civil Engineering Industries.
Plain ended for knock on shoulder coupling:
- Proplastics jointing method allows the use
of plain-ended pipe to 200 mm in diameter. The simple use of
a saw facilitates the fitting of valves, bends, etc. or shortening
of a pipe without gluing, welding or make up pieces.
- The coupling 'A' which consists of two halves
incorporates a broad rubber gasket or sealing and a row of serrated
teeth on either end.
- The camp 'B' is used where plain ended PVC
pipe is required to adapt to shoulder pipe fittings
Proplastics Mining (HDPE)
- Proplastics produces high density polyethylene
pipes for the mining industry. These pipes are best for transportation
of water or slurry, our sizes range from 20 mm to 200mm in diameter.
- Proplastics also offers a homogenous jointing
method (butt welding) as a service with the polyethylene pipes
This service is offered from diameters 75mm to 200mm. Proplastics
also offers HDPE compression fittings for joining and adapting
pipes.
